We don’t mature spiritually at once

We don’t mature spiritually at once. We do so, little by little, by being taught. Let us be eager and courageous to move on little by little, until God lets us know everything He wants to. Let us be eager and courageous, then, to bear and lift His words, so that the good work God wants to do in our soul may take place.

God intervenes in our life, but not the way we usually expect Him to. Every Christian has to learn to surrender to God’s plan, to God’s providence, to yield under God’s will.

God has a plan for each one of us, which extends from the beginning to the end of our lives. But this plan has, let’s say, specific smaller plans, and every now and again what is revealed in our life, is the plan of a smaller plan, which is a part of God’s overall plan for our salvation.
