The honest attitude before God

Would it harm you, if you said, “My God, how different should I have been if I believed in Christ and loved Him? Here, Christ Himself says that I would do the works He did and even greater ones. I can’t begin to imagine what would happen in my soul, what work would take place, what grace would come! And, this is not the case. How was my soul supposed to be, how could it have been, and, yet, look at its sorry state. Forgive me, my God”. And humble yourself and fall down on your knees.

That’s an honest attitude before God. And God will bear it in mind and attend to you. He won’t pass you by.

We ought to bear ourselves, until we’re regener ated by Christ.

We shouldn’t “broadcast” or spread around what we’re given by God. That causes envy and difficul- ties.
