How can I live according to Your commands in today’s world?
Someone could address God and say: “My God, how can someone live according to your commands in today’s world, which is so barbaric, so savage and resembles a jungle?”
But God would say to us: “Yes, you may have a point there, but you are seeing things wrong. Other people before you lived in a worse world, at worse times, with martyrdoms and persecutions. And yet, not only were they not prevented by these, but, par- adoxically, all these misfortunes contributed in such a way, that they became mine more, believed in me more, trusted in me, dedicated themselves to me, be- came devoted to me, and I sanctified them.”

When you do something before God because you like it and not because it is pleasing Him, it means there is a weakness there.
