Christ hears our longing for salvation

God looks for the man, who longs for his salvation, who longs for Christ despite struggling with evil, or his bad thoughts.

Even if you don’t manage to get away from bad things altogether, if you show with all your strength that you don’t want them, Christ takes it into consideration. And in this way you become likeable and Christ takes pity on you. And the grace of God finds a way to come and help you so that you take the path leading to God.

You go to Christ begging for the exact opposite of what He shows with his life and example. Namely, you want to be recognized, honoured, glorified; you want to be somebody important. And then you say: “Christ doesn’t hear me”.
