God gives us the talents for our salvation

God gives us the talents for our salvation

It is God who gives five talents, two talents or only one talent to people. God doesn’t judge things by human standards: some person is better than somebody else, some other person is not as good, and a third person isn’t good at all. What God wants from us is to hold on to this: whatever was done by God, was for our best, for our salvation.

God allowed specifically for you to have endless flaws. Still, if you aren’t tempted by this in your heart but instead, you accept what God allows and give yourself over to His grace, you are going to benefit greatly. If you think of this more carefully, you are going to realise that God responded to you not simply lovingly but, indeed, he showed you a very subtle and special kind of love. In other words, God having foreseen that, if you possessed more abilities you would be lost out of pride, He economizes things in this way, so that you are finally saved.
