Jealousy is an expression of inner weakness, but also of abnormal love. That is, I love him/her in a selfish and exclusive way, I believe that I have rights in his/her life and that he/she has obligations to me, that he/she must give me an account of where he/she goes and what he/she does. The jealousy comes from a hypertrophic ego.
