Someone asked Saint Antony the Great: “Elder, what should I be watchful over to please God?” And the Elder answered: “Keep the following. Wherever you go, always have God before your eyes. Whatever you do, rely on the testimony of the divine Scriptures. And no matter where you live, do not move easily from there. Keep these three and you will be with Him.”
