1. Do you know that with the basil and the little cross flowers we get from the
Church on the day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, we can catch yeast,
because it makes the dough rise wonderfully and thus, we can make offerings
and bread?
2. Do you know that the Holy Water we get from our Church on the eve and
on the day of Epiphany, as well as any other holy water performed by an
Orthodox priest, no matter how long we keep it, does not spoil?
3. Do you know that in Jerusalem, from the Holy Sepulchre of Christ, every
Holy Saturday, the Holy Fire miraculously emerges only in the hands of an
Orthodox Patriarch? A pilgrimage will convince you.
4. Do you know that on Mount Sinai, where the God-seer Moses saw the
burning bush that was not consumed, when you break a stone, the bush of
the Prophet Moses is imprinted on its walls?
5. Do you know that when monks die at the Monastery of Saint Sabas in
Jerusalem, their bodies do not freeze, do not become numb, do not smell, and
are not buried in the ground but are placed in a room?
