One could say that even if the body doesn’t resurrect, the
soul, being immortal, will enjoy eternal goods on its
own. However, we reply that this statement has no
logic or truth, because the soul did not labor alone, but the
body did as well. So, what kind of justice is this, that the
body which worked the hardest goes to nothingness and is
not resurrected or enjoys any good, while only the soul is
crowned and enjoys? That’ a clear injustice.
