The road of simplicity and humility

 

Whatever passions one might have, when he is on the road of simplicity and humility, he is gracious. Here is an example: Without knowing it, the other person is stubborn and aggressive, and either by word or in some other way you help him become aware of his passion. One who is on the road that we are referring to confronts the issue graciously. He smiles or might say: “Yes, unfortunately, that’s me.” He is not wounded, not offended, nor does he do like other souls that do not appear to be wounded or offended but are ready for arguments, aggressiveness, and coarse outbursts. It is not about having shortcomings. Alright, one has shortcomings, faults, and until God heals him from these things, he will have them and needs to have patience. But may he
