Endure Patiently

To be humble, it means that you believe, because of your sins, that you are worthy of being treated unfairly, to be humiliated, and to be falsely accused. To be gentle and meek, it means that you endure patiently all injustice and wrongdoings against you. And on top of this to pray for your enemies and everybody who treats you unfairly.

St. John of Kronstadt

***

Everything can be treated

When you live without Christ, then you live in melancholy, sadness, stress, grief, and sorrow. You don’t live. You don’t live right. Then all kind of problems and anomalies appear in your body. Everything is affected, your glands, your liver, your stomach, etc. The best medicine is to devote yourself to Christ. Then everything is treated and everything is starting to work correctly. The love of God is changing everything, purifies and corrects them all and sanctifies your entire body.

Saint Porphyrios the Kapsokalyvite
